You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Send your flower order for Arendal online from abroad; preparation and delivery take place locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Local landmarks such as Cannon are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Gabriel Scott in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The local ordering deadline for same-day flowers in Arendal is 16:00. Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions. When entering an address in Vindholmen, include the locality as well as the street and postcode.
If you are sending to a guest of Grand Hotel Arendal, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Lille Hotell, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Eydehavn skole, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. A delivery for Nedenes skole is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. For a delivery to a teacher at Sam Eyde videregående skole, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
For a service at St. Franciskus Xaverius kirke, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Trefoldighet kirke, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If the recipient is staying at Clarion Hotel Tyholmen, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation.
Address flowers for someone at NAV Arendal with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
A tribute addressed to Arendal kirkegård should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
For a table booked at Dolly Dimples Arendal, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine and champagne. Check availability for the product you choose.
