Flowers — Laos

Order before 14:00 and the flowers can be at their door the same day, made up by a florist working near the address you give us. Later than that, you name the date you want at checkout and the florist works to it. A first date that turned into something, and a morning-after gesture that has to arrive while it still means something: flower delivery to Laos runs on the same short clock you do. Checkout is in your own currency, paid securely online, and a card message travels with the flowers, free and exactly as you typed it.

Browse the bouquets, pick the day, and a florist near them takes it from there.

More About Flowers Delivery in Laos

The week's deliveries, and how substitutions work

Deliveries in Laos run Monday to Saturday, and the checkout calendar shows you only the dates a florist can take. Bouquets follow the freshest stems of the day, which means an unavailable flower is replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style. You are choosing a design and a date rather than one named variety, and what arrives holds the value you paid for. Worth knowing: the earlier in the day the order lands, the more of the market the florist still has to build it from.

Village, district and a phone number

Give the complete address: the village (ban), the district (muang), the town and, where there is one, the five-digit postal code — Ban Naxay, Xaysetha District, Vientiane 01001 is the shape of it — plus a phone number for the recipient. Florists use that number to confirm availability and check exactly where they are going, which matters more here than the code does. If the flowers are going to an apartment, add the door code at checkout too — it takes a moment, and it keeps a driver from waiting at a locked entrance.

What to send, and when the local stems are best

Over 100 flower arrangements are ready to send, inside a gift list of over 200 pieces that also holds Gift Baskets, Plants and Chocolates. A new baby in the family makes the case for a plant as much as a bouquet — the parents are not going anywhere for a while, and something growing is still on the windowsill a month later; time it for a day they are home and settled. Locally grown marigolds and orchids are at their most abundant in the cooler dry season, roughly November to February, when Xieng Khouang, Vientiane and Luang Prabang Provinces are cutting; through the hot and rainy months florists lean on greenhouse stock and imports from Thailand, Vietnam and China.

Garlands, temple offerings and the Talat Sao stalls

Flowers here run in two directions at once: simple garlands and temple-offering arrangements on one side, modest colourful hand-tied bouquets on the other, wrapped in cellophane or paper and often sold straight from market stalls such as the flower section of Talat Sao in Vientiane. Dok Champa (plumeria), orchids, roses, marigolds, chrysanthemums, lotus and jasmine are the usual stems, cut with banana leaf, areca palm or ferns. Offering lotus, jasmine or marigolds at a Buddhist temple is an act of merit-making, and marigolds are woven into the phaa khuan, the flower-and-banana-leaf centrepiece of the Baci string-tying ceremony.

Which festivals bring the flowers out

Lao New Year (Pi Mai Lao), April 13-15, fills homes and temples with flowers and bathes Buddha images in them. International Women's Day on March 8 is widely marked by gifting flowers to women. Boun Awk Phansa, the end of Buddhist Lent on the full moon of the 11th lunar month, typically October, floats flower and candle offerings on illuminated boats; Boun That Luang, on the full moon of the 12th lunar month, typically November, brings pilgrims with flowers to the stupa. Valentine's Day on February 14 is the exception to the usual schedule: florists open for the big flower days, so an order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday — and around it, as around Mother's Day, order at least 48 hours ahead.

How to make sure the flowers find them

Someone mid-journey — at an airport, a railway station, a cruise terminal — is almost impossible to reach with a delivery, so send to a hotel, office or home address instead, timed for after they arrive. If nobody answers the door, the florist will usually call the recipient or arrange a redelivery. White lotus and jasmine are favoured for Buddhist funeral rites, with garlands and offerings placed near the coffin alongside incense; wreaths and formal funeral pieces need 24–48 hours' notice.

Customer Questions

Flowers Delivery to Laos — FAQs

Can I get same-day flower delivery in Laos?

Yes — order before 14:00 local time and your flowers can be delivered the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff are delivered on the next available day you choose at checkout.

Can flowers be delivered to a patient in hospital?

Acceptance depends on the hospital and ward — check before ordering; otherwise delivery goes to reception. Use the hospital's own city and full address, with the patient's full name and, where possible, the ward or room.

Can you deliver flowers to a hotel guest?

Yes. Reception will ask for the reservation name and room number, so include the guest's full name and, if you can, their arrival date or booking reference.

Can I send flowers to a workplace?

Yes — include the company name and, if you know it, the floor or department, and the delivery goes to reception. Choose a working day the recipient is in, within office hours.

Can I ask for a specific delivery time?

You can request a preferred time slot, but exact times cannot be guaranteed — deliveries follow the local florist's routes and workload for the day. The date you select at checkout is honoured.
