Same Day Delivery
Sending from another country changes nothing at your end: you order online, and the arrangement is made and delivered locally by a florist on the island. An anniversary you want to mark properly from four thousand miles away is exactly the kind of thing flower delivery to Martinique was built for. Checkout is in your own currency, paid securely online, and a card message comes with every order at no extra cost, printed word for word — so the note in their hands is the one you wrote.
Choose an arrangement, pick a delivery day between Monday and Saturday, and a local florist takes it from your screen to their door.

Deliveries run Monday to Saturday, which leaves six days a week to land on. Arrangements are built from what came in that morning: if a particular flower isn't in, the florist swaps it for one of equal or greater value that keeps the same look, so the bouquet you pictured is the bouquet that turns up rather than a thinner version of it. And if nobody answers the door, the florist will usually call the recipient or arrange a redelivery, which is why the phone number matters as much as the street name.
Addresses in Martinique run a five-digit French postcode starting with 972 — for example, 97200 (Fort-de-France). Write the street and number first, then the commune and those five digits, and the address is already most of the way there. Include the recipient's local phone number, because florists use it to confirm availability and the exact address before setting out. Apartment blocks often need a door code — add it at checkout, where there is a field for exactly that, and it costs nothing to include.
Over 100 flower arrangements are ready to send, seasonal or mixed, single-stem or generous. Gift baskets, plants and chocolates sit alongside them when a bouquet isn't quite the whole gift: a potted plant that outlasts the week, a boxed selection for an office, a basket for a household with visitors coming. One local nicety worth borrowing when you choose the stem count — bouquets here are often given in odd numbers, following broader French floral etiquette. Add the card message and the order is done.
Anthurium, heliconia, ginger lily and bird of paradise are grown on the island itself, with Fonds-Saint-Denis, Morne-Vert and Le Lorrain among the growing areas; the Marché d'Intérêt National de Fort-de-France is where much of that stock is traded. The tropical climate allows near year-round growing, and the driest season — the carême, roughly December to April — is generally the most favourable, while the wetter hivernage months from June to November can disrupt supply. Local work tends to be bold and colourful: orchids and ixora among the large blooms, banana leaf, croton and palm fronds as the foliage, hand-tied and wrapped in paper, cellophane or tropical leaves.
Mother's Day (Fête des Mères), the last Sunday of May or the first Sunday of June when it coincides with Pentecost, and Valentine's Day (Saint-Valentin) on February 14 are the exception to the usual schedule: florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead for both. All Saints' Day (Toussaint) on November 1 is the other volume date, when chrysanthemums are bought in quantity to decorate family graves — which is also why they are generally kept out of everyday gift bouquets. Christmas (Noël) on December 25 brings poinsettias and festive arrangements into the house.
Someone mid-journey is almost impossible to reach with a delivery. An airport, a railway station, a cruise terminal — none of them hold a person long enough, so send to their hotel, office or home address instead, timed for after they arrive. Workplace deliveries are best aimed at office hours, and it helps to pick a day you know the recipient is in. For a bereavement, wreaths and cross-shaped arrangements are the conventional tributes here, and formal funeral pieces need 24-48 hours' notice.
Yes. You can pick any future delivery date at checkout, which is the safest option around busy periods, and the calendar only offers dates that are available.
You can request a preferred time slot, but exact times cannot be guaranteed — deliveries follow the local florist's routes and workload for the day.
Acceptance depends on the hospital and ward, so check before ordering; otherwise delivery goes to reception. Use the hospital's own city and full address, with the patient's full name and, where possible, the ward or room.
Yes. Include the guest's full name and, if you can, their arrival date or booking reference, so reception can match the delivery to the right guest.
Yes. Include the resident's full name and, where possible, the floor or unit. It is worth checking the residence accepts flower deliveries; reception will usually pass them on.
