A flower order for Al-Kifaf can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Heritage House are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Al Ahmadiya School in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. Address details for Dubai Design District should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
Use the hospital’s full address for Iranian Hospital Dubai, and ask the relevant ward whether flowers may be delivered. For a recipient at Doctor Sulaiman Al Habib, check with the hospital and ward that flowers are accepted, then use the hospital’s full address. Before sending to Medeor 24x7 Hospital, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address. The listed address for Iranian Hospital Dubai is Al Wasl Road; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
For flowers addressed to a guest at Al Seef Heritage Hotel Dubai, Curio Collection by Hilton, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. For a guest at ibis Styles Dubai Jumeira, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation. Check with IBIS Hotel Dubai Al Rigga before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. The location listed for Al Seef Heritage Hotel Dubai, Curio Collection by Hilton is Al Seef St; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
If the service takes place at Dubai Grand Mosque, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at St Marys Catholic Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at Al Zarooni Mosque, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check whether Federal Authority for Government Human Resources accepts flowers for staff before ordering, and include the organisation and any department in the delivery details.
For a table booked at Baku Café, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, preserved roses and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
For a delivery to a teacher at Jumeirah Baccalaureate School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
Before sending flowers to Dubai International School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
Sending flowers to someone at The Indian High School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
